Jenny Chamoun, PT, CEAS

Physical Therapist/Owner

Jenny is a NYS licensed physical therapist and certified ergonomics assessment specialist. She received her bachelor’s of science degree from Pace University and Masters in Physical Therapy from New York Medical College. Pursued advance certification in ergonomics from the Back School of Atlanta. She has been treating on the Upper West Side of Manhattan for the past 15 years. Jenny has an extensive background in treating a wide range of post-surgical, non-operative, degenerative, sports and orthopedic conditions. Jenny has also been working with many high school and college athletes from the NYC area for the past 15 years. Jenny is a proud member of the American Physical Therapy Association.


 

Ogechi Nwaneri PT, DPT, CSCS

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Ogechi is a NYS licensed Physical Therapist and Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist. Hailing from New Jersey, she has been an athlete since the age of 4. She was a Division 1 All-American Track athlete while at Virginia Tech, where she pursued a Bachelors of Science degree in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise and with a minor in Psychology. Ogechi then went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from New York University.

Coupled with her athletic background, Ogechi has a passion for orthopedics and treating various musculoskeletal dysfunctions. She has experience in outpatient orthopedic settings as well as in athletic training rooms where she worked as a student trainer in college.

When Ogechi is not treating, she enjoys working out, cooking, being with family, and going to Beyonce’ concerts no matter the location. She is dedicated and excited to be treating here at Miccass Physical Therapy!

 


Michael Lazara, PT, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Michael is a NYS licensed Physical Therapist that has been practicing since 2015.  After completing undergraduate studies in Exercise Physiology at the State University of New York at Brockport, Mike graduated from Stony Brook University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.  Mike utilizes manual therapy techniques including soft tissue and joint mobilizations, stretching and therapeutic exercises aimed at improving functional status and reducing pain levels.  Mike’s clinical expertise includes treating a wide array of orthopedic conditions including various sports related injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and cervical and lumbar spine disorders. Michael prides himself in providing evidence based practice to ensure optimal patient outcomes and quality care.

Outside of the clinic, Mike enjoys working out, playing sports, hiking and spending time with friends and family.
