Move Without Limits.

You've tried resting. Stretching. Maybe PT somewhere else. If the pain is still there, or keeps coming back, there's a reason. A physical therapist who takes the time to find it changes everything.

There's a reason your pain keeps coming back.

Most PT clinics see 3–4 patients at once, hand you off to aides, and send you home with the same sheet they give everyone. That is not treatment. That is time management. Here's the difference.

The Typical Clinic What most patients put up with
  • Rushed 10-minute intake with whoever's free

They check a box. They don't understand your body. The root cause goes undetected.

  • Different therapist every visit

They re-read your chart. You re-explain your history. You start over every session.

  • Half your session sitting on a machine

Hot packs. Ultrasound. E-stim. You wait while your therapist sees other patients.

  • Generic exercise handout, same for everyone

A printed sheet that has nothing to do with what's actually wrong with your body.

  • Pain comes back six months later

Because the cause was never found. Just managed, until the next flare-up.

The Miccass Physical Therapy Way What actually gets you better
  • Full evaluation with one dedicated therapist

We build a complete picture of how your body moves, where it's compensating, and why the pain keeps returning.

  • Same therapist. Every single session.

They know your case cold. Progress compounds visit to visit. Nothing gets lost in handoffs.

  • Hands-on treatment the entire session

No generic machines. No waiting. Every minute is directed by your therapist, with support there so you are never doing your exercises alone.

  • A home program built for your body and life

Specific to your findings, your goals, and your actual schedule, not a generic printout.

  • Discharged with the tools to stay out of pain

Our goal is to make you not need us anymore. That's what real results look like.

The difference is not just philosophy. It is outcomes. See it for yourself.

Step 01 · Listen First
01

Listen first.

Every visit starts with your story, not a clipboard. We find out what actually happened to your body before we ever touch it.

02

Treat by hand.

Hands-on manual therapy targets the exact source we found, not just wherever it happens to hurt today.

03

Rebuild strength.

We load the tissue that failed until it is stronger than before, so the same problem does not come back.

A clear path from pain to peak performance.

We don't just treat your injury and send you home. Our four-phase framework takes you from your worst day to your best.

Phase 01

Pain

We reduce your pain, calm the inflammation, and restore safe movement. This phase is about getting you out of crisis, quickly and safely.

Phase 02

Prime

With pain managed, we restore your full range of motion and correct the movement patterns that led to the injury in the first place.

Phase 03

Perform

Now we rebuild strength and function, specific to your sport, your job, your life. This is where you start feeling like yourself again.

Phase 04

Prevent

We give you the tools, the education, and the home program to stay out of the clinic. Because the best outcome is one that lasts.

If it's keeping you from moving, we treat it.

From the first twinge to chronic pain you've lived with for years, we find the cause and build the plan to fix it.

What our patients say.

Everything you want to know before you come in.

01 / Do I need a referral to start physical therapy?
No. NY gives you the right to see a physical therapist directly, no doctor's visit required first. If your specific insurance plan does require a referral, we will tell you right away and walk you through the fastest way to get one. The majority of our patients come in without a referral and have no issues with coverage.
02 / Will my insurance cover treatment?
We are in-network with most major insurance plans, including Medicare and the commercial plans most people in New York carry. Before your first visit, we verify your exact benefits so you know what to expect, no guessing, no surprises when the bill arrives. Call us with your insurance card and we will check your coverage on the spot, usually in under five minutes.
03 / What should I expect at my first visit?
Your first visit is a full evaluation with a physical therapist, not a quick intake before someone hands you a printout. Your therapist takes a complete history, assesses how your body moves, identifies exactly where the problem is originating, and explains what is going on in plain language. You leave with a specific treatment plan and a clear answer to the question you have been carrying around: "Why does it keep hurting?" Most patients say that first session gave them more clarity than everything they had tried before it.
04 / How long are sessions and how often will I come in?
Sessions typically run 30-60 minutes, one-on-one with the same physical therapist. Visit frequency depends on your condition, how long you have had it, and your goals, but most patients start at two to three times per week and taper as they improve. After your evaluation, your therapist gives you a realistic timeline and visit estimate. We do not keep you coming longer than you need to, and we do not pad your plan to fill a schedule.
05 / How soon will I feel results?
Most patients notice a meaningful difference within the first three to four sessions, not a complete resolution, but enough of a change that they know something real is happening. We track your progress objectively at every visit, measuring how you move, not just asking how you feel. If something is not working, we change it immediately. You will never spend twelve sessions on a plan that stopped producing results after four.

The Longer You Wait, the Harder It Gets.

Your pain has a cause. We find it.

Most people spend months, sometimes years, managing pain instead of fixing it. You don't have to. One evaluation tells you exactly what's wrong, how long it takes to fix, and what your plan looks like. No commitment required.

Stop managing it.
Start fixing it.
