We Built the Clinic We Wished Existed.

Miccass Physical Therapy exists because patients deserve the same physical therapist in the room for every minute of every session. Not ten minutes. Not a handoff to whoever is free. Every minute, with the same person who evaluated you.

The system wasn't broken for everyone. Just for patients.

"We are family-owned and operated, and we intend to stay that way."

Jenny Chamoun, PT, CEAS, has treated patients on the Upper West Side for 22 years. She built Miccass Physical Therapy as a family-owned practice and stays personally involved in patient care, not just running the business, and many of her longest-standing patients have been with her for over a decade.

That kind of continuity is rare. Most clinics rotate you through whichever therapist and whichever aide has an opening. At Miccass, you are never alone as you go through your exercises, and the person who evaluated you is the same person treating you.

Miccass Physical Therapy exists to stay that way: family-owned, hands-on, and personal, even as the practice grows.

Schedule My Appointment

We measure success by outcomes, not visit count.

"Pain is not a diagnosis.
It is a signal. Follow it to the source."

Most patients come to us having been treated for where the pain is. We treat why it is there. Those are rarely the same place. Every clinical decision we make starts with one question: will this actually get this patient better? Not managed. Not coping. Better. If the answer is not yes, we find a different path.

Root Cause First

We never treat symptoms in isolation. Every treatment plan starts with a thorough investigation of why the pain exists, because managing a symptom without fixing its source just delays the inevitable.

Evidence-Based Methods

Our protocols are grounded in current clinical research. We update our approach constantly, not when it's convenient, but because the evidence demands it. No outdated treatments propped up by habit.

Patient Education

You leave every session understanding your body better than when you arrived. An informed patient heals faster, stays out of pain longer, and stops needing us, which is exactly the outcome we're aiming for.

The people in your corner.

Every clinician on our team is a licensed physical therapist who takes ownership of your care from day one. Our aides are there to support you, not replace your therapist, so you are never alone as you go through your exercises.
